Chosen One Privacy Policy
In short: Chosen One collects no personal data, contains no ads and works offline.
The app
Chosen One is an Android app by Piton Games for picking someone at random: everyone puts a finger on the screen, and the app chooses one. This policy applies to the Chosen One app. The pitongames.com website has its own privacy policy.
Who is responsible
Chosen One is published by Piton Games, an independent video game studio based in Québec.
The person in charge of the protection of personal information is Louis-Félix Pineault, founder of Piton Games. For any question: support@pitongames.com.
Personal data
Chosen One collects no personal data.
Ads
Chosen One contains no ads.
Internet connection
Chosen One works offline.
Google Play
You install Chosen One from Google Play. Downloads and updates go through Google, which processes some data under its own privacy policy. Google is responsible for that processing.
If you email me
If you write to support@pitongames.com about Chosen One, I receive your email address and the content of your message. I only use them to answer you. I do not sell them, add them to any mailing list or share them with anyone other than the provider that hosts my email. I delete them once they are no longer needed to handle your request.
My email is hosted by Namecheap, Inc. (Private Email service), a company based in the United States. Your messages are therefore stored outside Québec, on Namecheap’s servers, which process them on my behalf under Namecheap’s own privacy policy.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you, such as an email you sent me. Write to me at support@pitongames.com: I answer within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with my answer, you can contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (Québec’s access to information commission).
Legal framework
This policy is published in accordance with Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25.
Changes
If a future version of Chosen One changes how it handles data, I will update this policy before releasing it, and the date at the top of this page will change.
